Monumentally annoyed! I started on my project to build an AI trading robot. Stage one was to consolidate all crypto assets in one place.
Got my Ledger Nano S out, found the correct cable and set about the task of moving the currency ..... except I couldn't as the Nano is fubar. Dead screen. The AI help bot kindly suggested that I just "buy another one" .... nah, mate.
So now I've got to mess about with seed phrases, network settings and gas fees to move to another platform.
Cold wallets are supposed to be the ultimate in crypto security. Exchanges are the worst ..... except exchanges work and cold wallets are a ball ache if they break.

Well, I couldn't recover the lost assets. 50% my fault. Back in 2022 there was a Ledger firmware update that failed - I made a fundamental mistake - I created a new wallet and restored my assets to it rather than just restore from the seed phrase. I never recorded the seed phrase for the "new" wallet.
Boom - anything traded after this was on the new wallet. When I restored using the seed phrase I had, it only had assets traded prior to the firmware update.
Bit of a disaster as it means I lost a lot of assets. Luckily as I was only a dabbler it isn't crippling ..... just really annoying.
